visit from Grandma and the tooth giving fairy and talk about feet - big ones

 Kristof had 3 new teeth break through this weekend. Unfortunately that meant he was not a very happy babe during his mami's visit.

We had 3 whole weeks of good weather and a baby without sniffles. The rain is back and so are the sniffles. But, atleast we had a break. KFC has the new toothe blues. Everything gets swolen so he is stuffed up and coughing and generally not so happy. He still only has 2.5 teeth and 3 coming in very soon. Poor little guy. Plus we can't go outside now thats its rainy and cool again. ITs very frustrating. No time to work on the pool either. 

 Spring has sprung!

The weather has been so perfect for the past two weeks. Its hard to believe I am still in France. We spend all day outside now getting really dirty just before we go in for dinner to get REALLY REALLY dirty because Kristof is now feeding himself with a spoon. Here is Kristof enjoying his birthday present a tower of his own with slide and swings that will be finished... one day.

 

What a perfect day! Kristof had a fabulous birthday party! The weather was perfect and the little man loved every minute of it!

My little one is officially one today!  I get weepy already when I see his old baby pictures. He is starting to look like a little boy instead of a baby!

The weather has been so crazy. Hail, wind, rain, sleet, snow and occassionally SUN! Yesterday was a beautiful day and fortunately my day off to spend with Kristof. We went to the park with Louisa and Kristof's older woman Isabella (who is a whole 4 months older) and then walked around for an hour on our own simply because KFC fell asleep in his stroller and I could not bear to wake him or take him home to all the noisy smelly construction.

I've lost track of the weeks, and time in general. 11 months old this week! Just one more month before Kristof is a whole year old. Time has flown by. Its been a while since my last post not only because I STILL have no phone, internet and tv at the new house but also because things have been too crazy and messy. Kristof is getting cuter and crazier everyday. What can I tell you? He is learning new tricks everyday.His latest is pulling himself into a standing position WITHOUT using furniture or my legs...

We are out of our minds crazy busy and just plain crazy this week. Our visit with Rémi's family last week was GREAT even though it meant we couldn't spend more time with Hank and Marla.  This week we have been packing boxes night and day and trying to buy a kitchen and bathroom so that we can move into the new house. We move in tomorrow! Well, we move our stuff in and move our bodies in on tuesday because there is still no kitchen or bath. In anycase the weather is finally PERFECT sunny and cool after too many months of gray and rain. The new house is LOADED with purple crocuses and a clan of ladybugs hatched in Kristof's bedroom. I take all of this as a good sign. Moving day tomorrow will be so much nicer now that the sun is shining! I'm excited even though I HATE moving.  Pictures to come as soon as we move, get internet access up and running and find the box with the camera in it. So... maybe by mid july.
