We had another surprise snow storm! This one melted the next day just leaving a couple inches of thick ice on the roads. I actually saw a plow and a salt/sand truck this time. Nowhere near our house but atleast I know it exists in France! We also had a big raging storm one night. We had windows flying open all night. We had one window break and one tree got knocked down but otherwise no harm done. Biggest surprise is that the 1st crocus have managed to pop through all the branches and rubble called our yard. There are hundreds of them! So excited for spring!

Yesterday was a big day full of fun for Kristof. We went to our favorite place Acrochat with Kristof's favorite gal, Izzy. This morning he woke up saying, "Izzy? Izzy?" After Acrochat we went to a great playground that had some amazing play things that I had never seen before. It was a beautiful mild sunny day. After THAT we went to Alex's birthday party with all his favorite little friends. Mommy ate about 10 pieces of cake while Kristof ate a clementine. Its ok, he will learn. Kristof's gal, Izzy My god-daughter to be, Lucie Rose! Happy birthday Alex
Kristof's passion at the moment is coloring with magic markers. He loves to draw on the tv, the tv cabinet and the home cinema. He also draws on the glass table, his hand and his stuffed animals. All are very cleanable except the stuffed animals. He has also taken to ordering me around when it comes to drawing. He is very demanding YELLING at me fish! Another fish! Octopus! Airplane! Bus! Fish! fish! Fish! finaly getting some use out of my fine arts degree though I am not able to draw fast enough for this little guy. He talks non stop now though its some made up private language I am too dumb to understand. It sounds something like this, "ah wadga see ba bicycle water beee gaaa de aiiiyt elephant mommy papa." He goes on and on non stop. He learns words instantly now so you need only tell him once what something is and it is quickly learned, filed, and repeated in these long sentences of Kristof speak. Kristof has become a real tyrant. Ordering me around like nobody has ever done before in my life. He doesn't seem to realize that I AM THE BOSSY ONE in the family. Or maybe it is time I pass on the torch to him. He refuses to eat anything but pasta and chicken nuggets for meals and wants applesauce all day long. He does still love fruit though and aparently he will eat anything at the nanny's house, even spinach pea soup! Kristof's hair has once again become out of control einstein crazy again. Again, Rémi does not want me to cut it but again, I will. Bit by bit about 2 curls a day I hack away at it but it keeps coming back! Lastly but not leastly, Our little Toy dog has moved on to another home. His new family came to pick him up on sunday. In his new family he is allowed to sleep in bed with an adorable little 3 year old and will get long walks in the park. Best of all he is the only dog and can resume his position of dog king of the house. Expectant mummy Margaret |
