It snowed again! This is amazing as it rarely snows in the paris region. For it to happen twice and even three times is amazing and I am so grateful! Ofcourse without the plows and salt and sand, I am back to slip-sliding around the roads and hoping I will be able to pick up my son each evening. So far so good! Its so beautiful! And we even have heat in the house! Last week we lost heat again and it was a whopping 4 degrees in our kitchen. Fortunately we were up and running the next day but we really need to get around to getting a new furnace. Ofcourse in France that will take ages so it won't be installed until the summer!
I have no pictures this week. Kristof and Rémi were sick last week so I was too exhausted and they were not very photo-ready. Despite his runny nose and horrible cough, little mister Kristof is as cheery and chatty as ever. He has not been learning too many new words but has been refining and perfecting the ones he knows. Like "elephan" is now "elephanTe" he prounounces the t very strongly new. He also adds an "S" to a lot of words. Car is now cars, horse is now horses. The idea of plurals is not there yet but he is pluralizing everything. He now says "moto" french for motorcycle which used to sound like "bato". His "nanny" for the word lion is getting closer it is now "niiii oooo" Ok still progress to be made but he is working at it. His newest word is bicycle but since we don't see many of them he is not too sure what the dif is between a bicycle and a moto. But it is really cute how he says it. His new french phrase is "il n'y plus" meaning theres no more. Its what he says when he finishes eating something or anytime something is empty. He says it more like "eena ploo". Very cute He is still a wiz at puzzles and takes apart the foam tiles every day. He still loves to take a bath and watch dvds like dora or happy feet. He's finally over Ratatouille which frankly I can't bear to watch again. He's not crazy about the snow as he refuses gloves and it is too cold or as he says "co co co" He also says "hot" alot and thinks french fries are called "hot". He won't eat anything but pasta and applesauce. He will eat chicken nuggets and french fries but I don't want to give those that often so he ends up eating a lot of pasta. He still eats a lot of fruit but even that is fading as he frowns on his morning fruit now asking for applesauce. Will try to get pictures of him today as I feel a bit behind on the photos.
