Christmas number 1 was with Nana during her visit in November. Christmas number 2 was the weekend before real christmas when santa came and remi, Kristof and Jeanne spent the day opening presents and lounging around. Christmas number 3 was in Agen with mami Sylvie and Papi Alain. Kristof got a stomache virus on the 23rd so I'm glad we celebrated in advance. The days before christmas were spent vommitting and not sleeping. Christmas eve was spent in the car trying to make it to the south of france for christmas day. We made it and surprised the family by showing up by car just in time for the big christmas meal instead of arriving by train for desert.

 The big hit was the kitchen play set. Most of the day was spent playing kitchen with intervals of ripping open new presents like ANOTHER tractor, a handyman cart of tools, a xylophone, an electric guitar, a wooden train set and a rocking horse. The rocking horse makes galloping and neying nouses and wags his tail and opens and closes his mouth: very fancy. Until we got all that action going the horse was not appreciated. But once he came to life, Kristof was enthralled by it. He loved banging away on the xylophone. He also got an awesome piggy bank, the gobble monster, that burps and talks when you put coins or bills in it. It also yells and growls at you when you empty it.  Kristof figured out how to empty it right away so he just dropped the same coin in a million times. He laughs every single time it burps.

His all time favorite has to have been the national geographic dvd about lions. He wakes up every morning saying "lion movie" and every night chants "lion movie? lion movie?" when he doesn't want to go to bed. Unfortunately I had not seen the subtitle of the film when I bought it, "King of the carnivors" So, there are a few scenes we regularly fast forward through.

After Christmas number 3 we went to mami Denise' for yet another 10 course meal and Kristof had a blast with his 2 cousines Mathilde and Claire. They were so cute playing together and Kristof even took Claire's hand to drag her around to see different things or play peek a boo with the curtains. Claire is just 4 months older than Kristof and is a tall curly blond such that you would think they are blood cousins and not step cousins. Mathilde his 6 year old big cousin, took great care of him and reminded us that we need to get working on a little brother or sister for Kristof.
